Well Christmas began a bit rough this year as everyone in our house had the stomach bug. Ally had it Monday, Daddy Tuesday, Mommy Wednesday night. Therefore, we all felt awful for the first part of the Christmas holiday. We were able to get Mommy out of bed for an hour or so Christmas Eve to open a few presents. As you can tell Ally loved opening the gifts. She was so excited about what was going to be inside those packages. After sleeping well Thursday night, Christmas morning we felt better. However, as the week has progressed Ally isn't feeling much better. We hope to all ring in the NEW YEAR well. All in All, we can't complain. We had a wonderful Christmas and a great mini vacation with the familyafterwards.

CHRISTMAS MORNING
We all were feeling some better Christmas morning to enjoy the gifts that Santa brought. Ally must have been a good litttle girl, because Santa treated us all well. Then we headed to Henderson to celebrate Christmas with the rest of the family. Ally received so much. ThANKS FOR ALL OUR WONDERFUL GIFTS.
Mini Vacation
Sunday afternoon we headed to Pigeon Forge for a mini vacation with my aunt Amy, Uncle Chris and the cousins. We did a little shopping, fun eating, and then headed to the indoor water park. We really thought Ally would love the park, but considering that ole bug hasn't completly left our system, Ally didn't enjoy it as much as we hoped. However, we look forward to another time when the tummy is all better so we can splash.

The Bug has Invaded
By the looks of things you would never guess that I cut back on Christmas this year. Fun Fun! Well the bug has hit our house this week. Ally was up all night Monday night throwing up. Poor thing it was awful. Then Daddy woke up this morning throwing up. Oh my! I am hoping that those teachers immune systems kicks in this week and that all are feeling better tomorrow. Pray for us!
Please don't look at how I look, but with only a few hours of sleep the last couple of days. Pretty good considering. I captured a bit of a smile out of my sick baby girl.

PJ Day
Today was pajmama day at the babysitters today, as well as , pajama day for mommy at school. Therefore, you can probably guess what our evening was like, lazy. It is so nice to be able to stay at home for a few weeks and enjoy Christmas with family. I am sure Ally will miss all the kids at the babysitters, considering she doesn' t want to leave most days. Ally is quite the cutie in her pajamas.

Congrats on my New Cuz
Congrats to our cousins Lacey and Eric on the arrival of their sweet little girl, Presley Abigail. We drove up and got to see Lacey, but unfortunately didn't get to see Ms. Presley up close, just through the nursery glass. Therefore, we are looking forward to our visit this weekend when we get to hold, and take some good pics. WE are so happy for them. Ally was already giving Presley "love" through the glass, it was so sweet.

More Christmas Fun
Blowing her "piggy's" so they will dry. Mommy painted them Christmas Red.
Playing with her jewelry. A few minutes later, the bracelet broke. Red beads EVERYWHERE!
Eating her yummy breakfast in her snowman P'Js. Ally now has to feed herself breakfast. Oh how messy it can become.

Happy Anniversary!
Although, this is Ally's blog, I had to take time and wish my wonderful husband a Happy Anniversary. What a great 11 years we have shared as a couple. December 10th, 2005 marks one of the happiest days of my life as I married my high school sweetheart. He now is a great daddy as well. I am lucky to have him.
Happy 4 Years
This was the week after we got married. He hasn't hugged me like that since. (haha, just kidding)
This was way back in the day.

Beginning the Christmas Spirit!
What a great weekend to start off the Christmas spirit. Friday night we welcomed Da Da back home from his trip last week, Saturday morning we enjoyed the Christmas parade. It was so nice to watch from Daddy's office, instead of the freezing cold. Ally loved the parade, in fact she watched the entire thing. Funny thing is her favorite part was the bands. She started dancing everytime they played. Today we went to church, enjoyed lunch, and then came home to find ourselves taking an afternoon nap. As you can tell, Ally is trying to medal a bit with the tree, but overall is doing great with it. She has already found her picture from last Christmas. She has also started feeding herself as you can watch from the video below. Her new favorite word this week is yellow. I really thought she would just starting calling everything yellow, but she actually says "yellow" when something is yellow. Such a smart girl. She also has picked up on the word "apple." We are SO ready for Christmas. I can't put any presents under the tree yet, I already have a snooper, who has found some of her presents. WE remind her that SANTA is watching.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
