What a Toot!

I had to share a funny one on my daughter. While at the babysitters today, she quietly got up from her nap mat and snuck into the kitchen to where Mrs. Anna was fixing her coffee. As Mrs. Anna turned to look, Ally ran as fast as she could got back on her mat and closed her eyes really tight (play oppossum). She keeps everyone so busy! Luckily she didn't wake any of the other children up. Anna said she couldn't do anything but laugh at how sneaky she was. What a toot!

This is Ally's new look when you tell her to say "cheese."

Snap Shots!

Just a few pictures I snapped of Ally before church this morning. We've had a very relaxing weekend, other than the fact that Ally turned the kitchen chair over on her yesterday and bloody her nose. Scared us to death, but all was well. Within 10 minutes we caught her standing on top of her table. Oh my my! Gotta love her! She is so much fun!

18 Month Dr. Visit

18 month doctors visit was a bit rough considering Ally starting crying as soon as they called her name. Poor kid. She has been to the doctor twice each month since December, I think she has had eneogh of that place. She did have two shots, but her ears looked great. Praise the Lord!!!! She weighed 26 lbs and was 33 inches long. She is going to take after the Kerr traits of being tall. By the time we got home, she was happy as could be. Of course, she had to have a snack which was a "pot tot" that is pop tart in her vocabulary. If you look close in the pictures, you can see it hanging out of her mouth. Speaking of mouth, she now has 16 HUGE teeth. Give her a steak, and she'll take care of it. Trust me!

Terrible Two's Already

Ally has taken up loving her babies. She loves to rock her baby. She also has hit the terrible two's already. We are having temper tantrum where we lay in the floor and throw fits, I should add, there are no tears. We also are very very independant and get really mad when we don't get our way. Oh what a mess. I was hoping that I would never have to spank, but that hope is already gone. I am hoping is just this week and were just adjusting to mommy going back to work.

Enjoying Another Beautiful Day

Oh how time flies by. Tomorrow is back to work for mommy. We decided to enjoy the beautiful day outside today. After church we went to lunch, took a nap, played outside, went to the flea market, cooked supper, and then more outside time. Oh yeah, we also made a pit stop by Chaney's ice cream and enjoyed a little bit of that yummy ole ice cream. Ally had a lot of fun playing in the kiddie coral there. We also bought Ally a water table for outside. She was having a blast playing in the water. It's quite difficult to keep her from pouring water over her head, considering she cannot have any water in her ears. All in all, today was great. Mommy has enjoyed her week so much. I think Ally has too.

Ally thinks she is too cool for school in her shades. Too funny and so cute!

Thanks to our cousins for passing down the riding toys. Ally loves taking "melmo" for a ride!

18 Months!

We decided after a long week that we would skip the 18 month doctor visit until next week. However, we were able to take her 18 month photos. We did these pictures a bit more casual this time. Of course, at 18 months old she still seems to amuse us each day. She has learned many more animal sounds, everything is "no," and she loves to play "ou side." If the front door opens you better be ready to take her out. She is doing very well with her tubes. We were blessed to find a great ear specialist. We just pray that they continue to work and keep those ear monsters away.

We hope you enjoy the pictures!

Playing at Home

Ally and mommy are enjoying our time together at home this week. Mommy has cleaned house, cleaned out closets, and cooked yummy suppers. Ally is feeling pretty good. She has slept quite a bit today, but seems to be adjusting to the tubes great. We are looking forward to spending the rest of our time off with Daddy.

These pics are of Ally playing with mommy's keys in her pink car. We've had to bring it inside considering it got a bit colder today. Notice how Ally puts the keys in the gas tank. I think every child does that. It's a wonder that any of our children know how to drive. I guess they understand, find a hole, and stick the keys in. It was quite funny watching her play for over an hour trying to figure out the best place for her keys.

What A Day

Today started out pretty rough. Ally's tube surgery was done about 7:30 this morning. However, by 10:00 our sweet girl was back to herself. We are so very thankful for the strength of God. Mommy was pretty strong, but lost it when they took her away, that was very hard. All in all, these pictures were taken this evening, therefore, you can see that Miss Ally is being herself. Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers, it was much appreciated. God is so good!
