Our Weekend Get Away!

We had a great 3 days in the mountains. We did a lot of just R & R. We did a little shopping, good eating, and Ally's favorite, the POOL! She figured out how to splash and kick her feet and loved it. She would have stayed there all day. As you can tell from the pictures, she was just hanging out, sun bathing, and relaxing.

After a fun day with Nana, Aunt Amy, and all my cousins, I am exhausted. We had a fun day of shopping, eating lunch with Daddy, and then some good ole Chaneys ice cream. I was very mad that mom took mine away. Anyhow, thanks for the visit, Mommy and I enjoyed it!

Kiss, Kiss, Kiss

Ally loves to look at herself in a mirror. We have been practicing giving Mommy and Daddy love. Well today she thought she would give baby a kiss, not realizing that the other baby was herself. It was so sweet!

My Pearly Whites

We hope Ally's teeth look this good in a few years. She grinds her teeth together. Daddy heard it the other night from the back of the house. However, I caught the grin in action! She loves to show off her pearly whites!

The Wrong Way

Well, we have mastered crawling the WRONG way! Ally gets in crawling position, shakes her bottom, and the scoots backwards. We are so close!

In the Hair

Ally ate REAL Mac and Cheese for supper tonight. As you can tell, most of it ended up other places than in her mouth. She thought it was quite funny that she had it in her hair!

Happy 1st Father's Day

We hope Daddy had a great father's day! We spent the weekend in Henderson celebrating with Papaw Glenn and Papaw Sammy. The weekend started with a family reunion with Daddy's family. It was a lot of fun, even though Mommy couldn't make it due to having class. (she's almost finished) Then we enjoyed Saturday evening with the Kerr family with some good BarBQ and family fun with the cousins. Then Sunday we went and spent the morning and mid afternoon with the Southards. We spent the morning playing at Grandmamma and Papaw's house, and then traveled to Owensboro for lunch. Most importantly we got to spend time as a family and we hope that Daddy's father's day was a great one!

My Newest Discovery!

Well today I found Ally standing at the side of her bed. When I opened the door she was trying and when I got back with the camera, well you can see what happened. Of course, she thought it was the best thing ever. Needless to say, Daddy will be lowering the bed soon! I really think she is going to skip crawling and just walk! Oh, I hope not!

This was her action when I asked her if she enjoyed standing in her bed!

Just Like Laney/ Like Dog Like Daughter

We are beginning to wonder about our child. This is Ally in action of chewing on a sock she found. This is exactly what Laney, the dog does, and exactly how she does it. I never knew that children learned from dogs, but I guess now I have proof!

Just Some Cute Pictures

I discovered long ago, that my child was a mess. But let me tell ya, the older she gets, the more of a mess she becomes. I just love her so much! She has started taking toys from her friends in the Nursery, tapping her hand on the highchair when she wants more, and throwing a fit when something isn't going her way. (and yes its a fit, there are NO tears) It is so hard not to laugh, but she is just too funny!
