Getting Prepared for the Easter Bunny!

Sorry for not posting earlier, I tell ya with a toddler these days, its hard to capture all her fun cute moments and get them posted. However, we had a great weekend. We had an egg hunt at church Saturday morning, and Ally was a pro. We actually practiced before leaving home thinking that her reaction would be to take the eggs out of the basket instead of leaving them in there. When we started at the church, she was a champ. She was running after all the eggs, putting them in her basket, and then yelling "more." Too cute!

This was Ally blowing bubbles. The funny thing is that I had several people come and tell me "Ally is eating the bubbles." My response, "Ally eats everything and anything." Too cute!

A Beutiful Day in the Neighborhood

We were able to enjoy a beautiful afternoon outside. Ally is feeling so much better this week, so thankful for that. She was one happy sweet pea outside playing in her car, watching the neighborhood kids, and of course sticking her fingers through the fence for Laney to get a big lick. She thinks that is so cool! Enjoy

Her New Ride

The Easter Bunny arrived a bit early at the Kerr household. Ally is in love with the cozy coupe at the babysitters, so the Easter bunny decided that Ally needed one for her own house. She sure does look sharp in it. Daddy worked hard putting it together. Ally was getting a bit inpatient with him, he just wasn't doing it fast eneogh.

Poor Girl

We'll what a last few days. We had a great weekend visiting with Nana and Papaw at the SEC tournament, GO CATS. However, last night was rough. We all ended up with about 2 hours of sleep due to Ally screaming her poor lungs out and pulling on her ear. Yep, that's right, the 6th ear infection has arrived. However, they are treating it this time with an antibiotic called rocephin which is done through injection over a 3 day cycle. Therefore we had two shots today, two more tomorrow, and two on Thursday. We are praying that clears the fluid behind both ears until the 29th in which we meet with the specialist. Our peditrician said there would be no other option but tubes. Mommy isn't really looking forward to that at all. The poor girl was pretty brave considering the doctors don't like giving this because it hurts really bad. Ally let them know quite well that it didn't feel good.

We did capture a few snap shots of our pretty girl before church on Sunday. We are praying for healing ears and REST!

Living With A Monkey

Ally found her saucer in her closet and decided that she wanted to be a baby again. What we didn't know is that she can climb in it all by herself. I took out her out, went to the restroom and when I returned she was back in it. Here she is in her climbing action. I'm scared to think about what might be the next thing we find her climbing.

Hello Paisley

You all know we have dear friends in Kansas. Ally loves to look at Paisley's blog. I think she has figured out that her and Paisley could get into a lot of trouble. She often giggles when watching some of Paisley's videos. Therefore, today we were checking their blog and Ally was running around the living room say "Paisley." Of course, by the time I got out the camera she wasn't saying it much. But here is a bit of a hello video to her friend in Kansas. Enjoy

17 Months! WOW!

Happy 17 month Birthday to our Princess. I can't believe that 17 months have come this fast. She is quite the character these days. Other than battling the ear infections all winter long, she enjoys life to the fullest. Her vocabulary is unbelievable. Wes and I are amazed each day that a new word will come out. The best is her reading a book. I say a word and then she echo's. We'll have to get that on video soon. She defiantly is loved at the babysitters. All her friends cry for baby Ally. Too sweet. Her and Laney have become quite the buds. Every morning her and daddy go and let Laney out. Ally has the routine down pat. She still loves her "melMO" (elmo) and is pretty amazed at puppies and the kitty. Her favorite TV show has become the dog shows. In fact, she fell asleep watching it one evening. She now tells me that she needs a dry diaper and will go lay down waiting for me to change her. Her "paw see" is a very important part of her nighly routine. It's bath, bed, medicine (way too much of it), love for everyone, which includes Ally laying her head over in front of you waiting for you to kiss her on the forehead, then it's the blankie, "paw see, and then in the sweetest voice you will here her say, "night night."

It just blows our minds how they change everyday. She is too sweet and stuborn at the same time. (just like her daddy, RIGHT?) We love her so much. Don't worry, pictures are being mailed shortly! Ally sends her love!

AT The Circus Featuring Ally Kerr

Ally has become quite the acrobat these days. She climbs in the bath tub, out of the bath tub, stands on everything, climbs on the couch, stands in chairs, and her latest is standing on her head. We do call her the little monkey.

We also add that you pray for our little monkey. She has been on an antibiotic for 2 months and encountered 5 ear infections during those times. Therefore, we have an appointment at the end of the month with the ear doctor and she's probably facing tubes. No biggy, I know. But still very hard for mom and dad to put your kiddo through any surgery, even though its minor. However, we realize we have to do something.
