What a great little pumpkin we have! She is just doing so many new things daily. One day she decided to walk a bit, and now she is everywhere. Just amazing! She is also quite the mocking bird, doing and saying everything she sees and hears. Including shaking her finger at you when you tell her no and shaking her head back in forth laughing the entire time. Just a mess! We thought we would take a few little Halloween (fall pictures)today. Notice Ally's reaction to the big pumpkin!

My Newest Trick

The Big Day! Ally's First Birthday Party

What a great day it was! Ally is so blessed to have all the family and friends that care so much. She received sooooo many sweet outfits, 6 pairs of shoes (like Mom like daughter), and so many cute toys. I think we've pretty well played with everything. Her and Daddy have built princess castles with her new blocks, however, she thinks its more fun to destroy them. She has rode her new ladybug tricycle, she has pushed her new shopping cart and baby stroller, in which she throws the baby out and would rather just push an empty stroller. She has read books, and lots lots more in the last 24 hours. The crazy thing is the fact that she only had an hour and half nap yesterday morning, and it took us over an hour to get her to sleep last night. She didn't want the party to stop.


We just thank everyone who was able to attend and for all the many gifts she received. We were quite overwhelmed. The girl is set. What an amazing little girl we have. She enjoyed her birthday and all her new things. Enjoy the pictures!

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY

A year ago today, we were the proudest parents! Still today we are even prouder as we have the best baby girl ever. She has truly blessed our lives in so many ways. From her facial expression, to her sweet voice, we cherish her every sound. From her rolling over to now trying so hard to walk across the living room, we cherish her every move. From her belly ache cries, to those pure out temper cries, we cherish the fact that we get to comfort her while we wipe away her tears. She is just amazing.

Sadly though, we had to take her to the doctor on her birthday. She had to get three shots, which of course she did not like. She has slow down quite a bit in growth. She was 29 inches long and weighed 22 lbs 4 oz. NO MORE FORMULA. She is completely on whole milk now, which at times is a struggle to get it down her. She isn't much on the cold milk. So we are warming it for a while and we'll see what happens. She is still quite the eater though, with her favorite food being anything off the table. More importantly whatever it is that Mommy and Daddy are eating. She loves grilled cheese.

She has become very interested in "kitties." Therefore, we are contemplating on getting a house kitty for Miss Ally. We still haven't convinced Daddy yet. We celebrated Ally's birthday this morning by taking her to Chuckie Cheese. Although, there weren't many rides or toys for small ones, Ally enjoyed the few. She also got to open one of her presents. We got her a pink baby laptop considering she always wants our computers. She loved it. In fact, threw a little fit while Daddy was trying to get it out of the box. She also took a 3 hour nap on her birthday. That's the sure way to spend your birthday. We will continue celebrating her birthday with her big party on Saturday! Thanks to all for Ally's birthday wishes. She's very lucky to be loved by so many!

Well we can't believe it. Tomorrow is our baby girls first birthday. We still aren't real sure where the time has gone, but we do know that we have enjoy every moment of this past year.
