My First Thanksgiving!

WOW! My first Thanksgiving was a blast! Mommy and Daddy got full on turkey and I got to be passed around from person to person! We started our Thanksgiving celebration this past Saturday with my Nana's family. I got to see my great uncle Darrell, my great aunts Debbie and Brenda for the first time. As well as, my cousins!

On Thanksgiving Day I got to see my papaw Carmon for the first time! He was unable to see me when I was born! He has already started calling me his "pickle" which he used to call my mommy all of the time. We also got to see my great aunt Jan and uncle Joe, as well as my cousins again! They all spoiled me!

Then we made our way to my Nana's house. I got to see Nana and Papaw, aunt Amy and uncle Chris and all the cousins again! I also was able to get spoiled by my great grandma, Bea. She is very special in that I share her name. She hasn't seen me since the day I was born and was very surprised of how much I had grown!

I am very thankful for all of my family. I am blessed to enjoy my great grandparents as well! I look forward to seeing everyone again at Christmas!

My Cousin's Birthday Party

We had a very busy few days. It all started by celebrating my twin cousins, Drew and Mallory's Birthday. Me and Mallory are very good buddies. I was really watching her open all of her pretty Birthday presents. I am already plotting how much trouble we can get in! I'm sure Drew will help us too! Happy 2nd Birthday Drew and Mallory!

My Baby Dedication

Yesterday, was Baby Dedication at Church. Mommy and Daddy dedicated me to the Lord, who Mommy sings about to me all of the time. I'm anxious to know more about him. It was a really nice ceremony. I looked really pretty in my white fluffy dress. Everyone loved it!

A Mark in My Baby Book!

Last night was a mark in my baby book. I slept through the entire night for the first time. Mommy, Daddy, and I went to bed last night at 10:00 and I didn't wake up until 6:00 this morning. Mommy was excited, yet I scared her a little too. When she changed me and fed me, I went back to sleep unitl 9:00. Therefore, Mommy got a very good nights rest! The pictures below show me sleeping in my boppy beside Mommy and Daddy's bed. I love to sleep there with my hand behind my head. Our next big step is getting me to sleep through the night in my own bed. I love it when my ladybug mobile is turning and playing music, however, when it stops I'm ready to get out! Mommy and Daddy are so Proud of Me! I am growing so fast!

Thank Goodness for this nice new cozy cover that Mom and Dad bought for my car seat! It keeps me very warm and cozy in this cold weather! It also keeps the nasty germs of FLU season off me in public places. The coolest thing about it is that the minute I get in and snuggle, I go straight to sleep. I sometimes sleep for hours and hours all snuggled up. Daddy loves to get me out and curl up with me after I've been in here a while. I will suggest this cool cozy cover for any new baby friends that are born in the winter! It's worth it!

P.S. Mommy went to the doctor today for her 6 week visit and all was well!

It's Hard To Stay Awake

Mommy was playing with me in these pictures trying to keep me awake. You see, I really like sleeping during the day. Mom and dad took me to church this morning and I slept. Then they took me to Kohls to do some Christmas shopping, and I slept.Then they went out for lunch at Raferty's, and I slept. When they got home, I slept some more. Later in the evening they went to K-Mart, guess what, I slept. Therefore, about 7:30 last night, mom decided for her sake I needed to be awake a little. When I see the camera, of course, I have to show off! Well, it only lasted about 30 minutes and I was tired. I guess because mom and dad are now giving me 5 ounces, I still slept good at night. I slept from 11:30-4:00 this morning. Mommy says, she can't complain!

All in All, I am PERFECT! Thats what Daddy always says. I am getting excited about this weekend and next week as I get to celebrate my first Thanksgiving with all my family. I'm 100% sure, no one will SPOIL me!

Tonight was another round of pictures! We actually took our first family portriats but mommy doesn't want to post those until Christmas time! The outfit below is one of mommy's favorites, so she just made daddy take some pictures of me in my sweater and jeans! Mommy also bought me my first pair of ked tennis shoes! I've had them on all day, so she let me take them off for pictures!

How I Celebrated My 1 Month B-Day

Today is my birthday! I am one month old today! Therefore, mommy surprised me and painted my toe nails while I was sleeping! She also took me to the mall and to Kohls shopping for the first time. It was a lot of fun! I also went out to lunch with daddy! I enjoyed seeing his office! Mommy and I had a very fun day!
