3 Month Update

I had to go to the Doctor today for a check up on my ear infection! The Doctor said my ears looked great! (thank goodness) Ms. Michelle, the nurse, also weighed me today! I weighed in at a Big 12lbs and 12 ozs. I'm a growing Girl!

Christmas 2008

WOW! I can't believe Christmas has come and gone! It was a very exciting and Busy Christmas Holiday! I was able to see all my family and friends, enjoy lots of gifts ("too many" as Mommy and Daddy say), and get more and more spoiled. It was a very nice first Christmas. After a long week the first picture explains it all! Needless to say, I was very tired!!! However, I realized even more over the Christmas Holiday how lucky I am to have family and friends who love me so much! Thanks to all of them for their love and presents this Christmas! My room is already too SMALL! I hope you had a Very Merry Christmas and may you have a Happy New Year!

Christmas wth Daddy's Family

This is Christmas with Daddy's extended family. There are lots of us! In this picture you will find Great Granny and Papaw Denton, Nana and Papaw Glenn, along with my Great Aunts and Uncles, 2nd cousins, and 3rd Cousins, my Aunt Amy and Uncle Chris with my cousins, Cameron, Hunter, Drew and Mallory, and of course me, Mommy and Daddy!

My first really extended family Christmas Pictures were taken at Granny and Papaw's on Christmas Eve. Papaw even went and fixed his hair for pictures. Meeting My New Friend, Paisley

One of my favorite Christmas presents this year was getting to meet my friend, Paisley Ann Jennings. Her Mommy and Daddy and my Mommy and Daddy are GREAT Friends from College! (Go Racers) Paisley was born exactly 2 weeks after me. We will always be speical friends. It was nice for all of us to get together and hang out. We really enjoyed their visit and hope to see them again real soon! Mommy and Daddy miss them a LOT!

What a blessing we have this Christmas season. We took these pictures this morning of our little Angel. She truly is an Angel. We thank everyone for the special prayers, gifts, phone calls, and visits this special year. Allyson truly has blessed our lives in so many ways. Christmas Pictures and Updates

We wanted to post a few of Allyson's first Christmas pictures. Of course, Daddy has plans to take more. I had my first unexpected Doctor visit today. Daddy had to leave work and take me today due to a high fever and fussiness. I just haven't felt good for two days and come to find out I had my first ear infection. I get to take the good pink medicine Mommy and Daddy both loved as kids. Although, it was unexpected we found out I weighed 11 lbs and 12 oz. I'm getting to be a big girl. Mommy and Daddy hope to post more Christmas pictures when I feel better!

The Week is OVER!

WOW! Mommy and I both made it through the week! Although, mommy missed me sooooooooo much, I was well taken care of. My Nana and Grandmamma came down to take care of me this week and they both are coming back next week! They spoil me so much! Thank you Nana and Grandmamma! Mommy has hardly been able to keep her eyes open at night, so her and I sleep a lot. I've been sleeping real well for Mommy since she went back to work. I either wake up once or I sleep the entire night! Daddy has been helping Mommy at night! She really appreciates it! Mommy thought she would post a few new pictures. The first picture of me is what I look like when I get REAL hungry. It's a good thing I don't have teeth yet, I might bite my fingers off! Mommy and Daddy can hardly fix my bottle quick eneogh! The last two pictures are one of my many Christmas outfits!

A Sad Day for Mommy

Well after 9 weeks of being home with me, Mommy had to go back to work today. She was very sad this morning when she left and was very happy when she returned. Although, her day wasn't bad at all, it was nothing liking being at home. However, I stayed home with my Nana and we had a good day. The top picture is Mommy kissing me after work. I didn't think someone could be that full of kisses, she wouldn't stop! Mommy came home and changed her clothes; she thought they may be full of germs, and then she picked me right up! I shared a few grins with her soon after. The bottom picture is me getting my bath tonight! I am starting to really enjoy bath time, that is once I get in the tub! Getting out is not really my favorite part either. Although Mommy is sad, she only has two weeks and then Christmas Break!

Happy Birthday Allyson!

I am 2 months old and growing everyday! Because I had those stinken shots, my b-day wasn't too great! I ran a fever and just couldn't sleep well. However, my fever broke by the end of the night and I slept well. I slept all through the night again! (Yea) I tried to give Daddy a smile in my picture, but it just took all I had! As you can tell from me and Dad's picture, I am looking more like him everyday!

We traveled to Nashville last weekend with Aunt Haley to get my picture taken with Santa! He was pretty partial to Miss Ally and offered to keep and eye on her for us while we were out shopping. We didn't think the rest of the kids in line would appreciate it!

2 month Update

Today was my 2 month visit with my Doctor. I am a growing girl weighing in at 10lbs 14oz and was 22 1/2 inches long. The doctor was extremely pleased with everything. I am gaining 1 ounce a day which is right on track. The unfortunate part about this visit was the shots! I had to get four. Three in my leg and then I had to drink some gross stuff! It took me about 2 seconds and then I realized, OUCH this hurts! Then I cried a cry that Mommy and Daddy have never heard before! I didn't actually scream, but it was a hurt cry! Mommy and Daddy both held me shortly after and made me feel better! The pictures were taken before I went to the doctor. I probally won't feel good the rest of the afternoon, therefore, the camera will probally stay away until tomorrow. Daddy will then take my 2 month old pictures on my B-day
