Happy Birthday Allyson!

I am 2 months old and growing everyday! Because I had those stinken shots, my b-day wasn't too great! I ran a fever and just couldn't sleep well. However, my fever broke by the end of the night and I slept well. I slept all through the night again! (Yea) I tried to give Daddy a smile in my picture, but it just took all I had! As you can tell from me and Dad's picture, I am looking more like him everyday!

We traveled to Nashville last weekend with Aunt Haley to get my picture taken with Santa! He was pretty partial to Miss Ally and offered to keep and eye on her for us while we were out shopping. We didn't think the rest of the kids in line would appreciate it!

2 month Update

Today was my 2 month visit with my Doctor. I am a growing girl weighing in at 10lbs 14oz and was 22 1/2 inches long. The doctor was extremely pleased with everything. I am gaining 1 ounce a day which is right on track. The unfortunate part about this visit was the shots! I had to get four. Three in my leg and then I had to drink some gross stuff! It took me about 2 seconds and then I realized, OUCH this hurts! Then I cried a cry that Mommy and Daddy have never heard before! I didn't actually scream, but it was a hurt cry! Mommy and Daddy both held me shortly after and made me feel better! The pictures were taken before I went to the doctor. I probally won't feel good the rest of the afternoon, therefore, the camera will probally stay away until tomorrow. Daddy will then take my 2 month old pictures on my B-day

I Met My Babysitter!

Today I went and met my babysitter, Mrs. Anna! I also met the two other little girls she keeps. I didn't get to meet the little boy, he was sleeping. However, I went right to her. She said I was going to be "a piece of cake.!" The pictures are me in my bed, which I am starting to like a little more. Mommy was talking to me about going to stay at Mrs. Anna's. This was my reaction! It made mommy feel better! Tomorrow is Doctor day and my first round of shots! We'll keep you posted!

More Pics

OK! Yes, mommy is taking lots of pictures, however, she goes back to work next week! She is trying to get all of my good and sad moments as you can tell from the first picture. I have already learned that the "lip" works. Daddy always said it wouldn't work on him, but guess what; it is too cute for it not too! Mommy likes to take pictures, but it just wasn't my daddy taking them. Therefore, I was real sad that mommy had the camera out again! The last pciture is me in my Bumbo seat. I am getting so BIG!

Mommy Making Me Laugh

After a long weekend, I woke up this morning ready to laugh and giggle! Mommy was talking to me about Santa Clause! I love it when she says, "ho ho ho Merry Christmas!" That's what I am smiling about in the first picture. She asked me if I had been a good girl this year, and the bottom picture was my response. I had my picture taken with Santa yesterday and he actually wanted to keep me! Who would want to do that!

My First Thanksgiving!

WOW! My first Thanksgiving was a blast! Mommy and Daddy got full on turkey and I got to be passed around from person to person! We started our Thanksgiving celebration this past Saturday with my Nana's family. I got to see my great uncle Darrell, my great aunts Debbie and Brenda for the first time. As well as, my cousins!

On Thanksgiving Day I got to see my papaw Carmon for the first time! He was unable to see me when I was born! He has already started calling me his "pickle" which he used to call my mommy all of the time. We also got to see my great aunt Jan and uncle Joe, as well as my cousins again! They all spoiled me!

Then we made our way to my Nana's house. I got to see Nana and Papaw, aunt Amy and uncle Chris and all the cousins again! I also was able to get spoiled by my great grandma, Bea. She is very special in that I share her name. She hasn't seen me since the day I was born and was very surprised of how much I had grown!

I am very thankful for all of my family. I am blessed to enjoy my great grandparents as well! I look forward to seeing everyone again at Christmas!
