Time for Big Girl Food
YUM! YUM! YUM! The teeth are coming. Allyson cut her first tooth yesterday, and boy is it sharp! It looks like another one is right on the way! What a big girl she is. Scooting around reaching for toys, eating the big jars of baby food, getting ready to start meat and some table food. She already loves ice cream (thanks Uncle Chris for introducing such good food), and she actually loves lemons!

A Day at the Zoo!
Yesterday we took our little monkey to the Zoo for her first trip! She had a great time.
Other than the reptiles, she enjoyed seeing the animals. She actually cried when we were inside looking at snakes, turtles, and fish. Wasn't my favorite part either. The weather was amazing, and we enjoyed showing Ally all of the fun animals. We traveled with two couples from our church, along with their children. Therefore,we were lucky to have lots of Ally packers. Daddy took 355 pictures, but we didn't feel the need to post them all. However, some of them are amazing! Enjoy the pics!

ELMO' S WORLD
"La La La La, Elmo's World." Those are the famous words around the Kerr house these days. We bought Ally a hokey pokey Elmo this weekend. I really think Ally would do it with him if she could. She will just sit and stare at Elmo. When Elmo quits doing the Hokey Pokey you better be there to push his hands again and start him back up, or the Ally temper kicks in. She also loves to watch him on TV. She is soooo funny, when she hears Elmo on TV, she looks at her Elmo to see if he moved. She keep her eye on him. We thought you might enjoy seeing Ally play with Elmo!

Scrub, Scrub, Scrub
This is actually one of Ally's favorite things to do these days, take a bath! She was getting tired, but it wasn't quite bedtime yet, so I put her in the tub. From the pictures, you can tell she was enjoying herself! She even loves puting the soapy toys in her mouth. I love how she is being very modest with her little legs crossed. They stay that way quite often!

6 Month Update!
Today was the day we all dread, Doctor Day. However, she was amazingly good. She only cried for about 30 seconds. What a healthy porker she is. Ally weighed 17 lbs and was 26 inches long. The doctor said she was right on target. She is going to start some allergy medicine, considering we have battled the cold all winter long. Therefore, we will be taking medicine twice a day for a while. On a bigger note, boy can she eat. In fact, we are going to start meat in a few weeks and actually can have table food in a couple of months. I just can't believe it. We are doing cereal twice a day, and baby food three times a day, and of course, the wonderful milk in between! She is doing great! She loves digging and reaching for toys. She has even began to reach her arms out and reach for Mommy and Daddy! We are in the search for Sesame Street Live tickets. Ally loves BIG BIRD and ELMO. Daddy is the best Elmo ever. Ally loves when he sings the Elmo song. All in all, she is doing WONDERFUL!
