Take Me Out to the Ballgame!

Tonight we took Ally to her first baseball game. We saw the new minor league team in Bowling Green, the Bowling Green Hotrods. We were going to buy her a baseball cap that actually fit, but it was black and red with no girl features at all. I just couldn't do it. Ally seemed to enjoy herself, including trying to eat the funnel cake that a total stranger behind her was eating. It was a very enjoyable evening! They even played one of Ally's favorite songs, "If your Happy and You Know It."

This is Ally trying to help Daddy finish up work at his office. Looks as though she is doing a pretty good job!

WHY BOTHER!

I just had to take pictures to let you know that I do try and put shoes on my child because by the time I get done writing this blog, she will have them off. I promise. She can't stand them. She likes to chew her shoes better than a teether. Anyhow, they are the cutest feet ever!
Oh, and she is so mischievous!

9 Month Doctor Visit and Mom's Favorite Photo!

OH MY GOODNESS! I can't believe that my baby girl is 9 months old. 9 months ago Ally weighed 8lbs and 3oz and today she weighs in at 21 lbs and 1 oz. YES! 21 pounds! I couldn't believe it. Well, actually I could believe it considering my back hurts all the time. Anyhow, she was 28 inches long and a healthy baby girl. There was only one downside to her visit today. At 9 months babies get NO shots, however, they forgot to inform Mommy that at 9 months they do blood work. So as I was so excited about taking her this visit and coming out with a bright and cheerful girl, I quickly realized that this time she would be coming out crying along with Mommy too. However, what a brave little one she was. She only cried for a few minutes, simply because I was holding her down and they were squizzing her little finger trying to fill up the tube. Therefore, it wasn't so bad after all.

Well what can we say about her at 9 months? Little miss has developed quite the personality. She grins and laughs at most anything, but in only a split second can pucker up and cry. It's crazy. She totally man handles her toys, but on the rare occasion will find her loving her baby or the baby. (herself in a mirror) Let's see, she isn't quite crawling, but just this week is beginning to take one leap ahead. She moves one hand but then falls on her belly. I guess its just a matter of time. She continues to love her saucer and the jumper on the door. She can wear you out watching her. She does have bit of a temper still. She knows how to get her way. She slaps her hands on her high chair when she wants more. She currently has 5 teeth, 2 on top and 3 on the bottom! What is she eating these days, is more like what is she not eating. She enjoys most of her baby food still, and has ventured into some table food. She LOVES bread, cheese, crackers, carrots, pickles (my kind of girl), lemons, and much more. Her favorite thing lately has become her puffs and cheerios for snack. She loves to put one in one hand while eating the other in the other hand. She stores them for later, I guess. We think she might be a lefty. She picks all her food up with her left hand. She is loving having Laney around. She trys to go after her, but Laney moves somewhere else. Laney doesn't care a thing in the world about her being around. One day they'll be best friends. I still haven't quite figured out why my child hates shoes, oh I hope she grows out of it SOON. Every shoe that goes on her foot, comes off. Lately, I have fastened them so tight, that I check to make sure I am not cutting off the circulation. Girls just have to like shoes!

As you can tell, she is still quite the camera girl. She doesn't mind at all getting her pictures taken. We have a blast taking pictures with her. The above picture is now hanging in my living room. (16X20) along with the other 22 pictures of Ally. This one was my favorite 9 month photo. Well our next Dr. visit, our little one will be a year old. Its just so hard to believe. She is the best thing ever. We love her so much.

A Few Shots from our 9 Month Photo Session

Over the weekend, we went to the photography studio, "Kerr Photography!"
We honestly took so many good pictures that I had a hard time picking. What can I say, my child takes wonderful pictures, and my husband does a pretty good job taking them. These were a few of Ally's 9 months pictures. Ally will be 9 months tomorrow. I can't believe it. We go to the doctor on Tuesday, yea NO shots! I look forward to sharing about her visit and a few more of Mommy's favorite pictures! Enjoy!
