WOW! Where has the time gone. Ms. Ally will be here in less than 7 weeks. We are so excited. The doctor's visit this week was good. Everything was looking fine and right on track. We have nick named her "thumper." She loves to thump moms belly, and give daddy a hard kick every once in a while.
We had a shower yesterday and my goodness she racked up. Clothes, toys, bottles, lotions, SHOES, and lots of other goodies. It looks like Christmas at our house already. We honestly can already say she is SPOILED.
We go back to the doctor September 4th, and at that point every week. I can honestly say, my body is ready. She takes a lot out of me during the day, but it is for sure worth every last moment.
We look forward to sharing Ally's arrival with everyone.

Ally says Hello!!

We went for a 3D/4D ultrasound today and got a glimpse of what Ally looks like. While the technician said that we had waited too long and that it would be hard for us to get a good look at her we were able to see the picture to the left which we think is pretty revealing.
The tech took several more pictures but it would be really hard for us to explain in a short blog post what you were looking at. I will post one other picture as I'm sure everyone will be able to tell what it is and recognize just how much of a Kerr she really is.

Week 28 Doctor Visit
We went to the doctor on Tuesday and everything was great. It was a short visit, basically to check and make sure everything was going well. Her heartbeat was still holding strong at 150. The doctor was pleased with everything. We start seeing the doctor every two weeks. Our next visit is Aug. 6th. At the visit we requested a 3D ultrasound. We are very excited to see Ms. Allyson for the first time. If you haven't seen one before, you will be amazed. Wow, things have gone by so fast! We are just very anxious for her arrival.

Allyson's Room
We haven't updated in a while so we thought we would. All is well. Ally's room is coming along. It is all painted and two of the three furniture pieces are put together. Daddy has been working really hard. Her closet is completely full of clothes. It's CRAZY!
As for mommy, she is feeling pretty good. The tiredness has returned and lots of trouble getting a good nights rest. We go back to the doctor the 22nd for a normal visit and then will actually start going every 2 weeks shortly there after. All in all things are well.
We will attach some Nursery pictures soon!

Allyson For Sure
Well we went back to the doctor today and everything was looking good. She is 100% GIRL! There was no question this time. She still had her little ankles crossed but it was a clear picture. Everything else looked great. She is snuggled up inside and is moving lots now! I am taking summer classes this summer and honestly loose my train of thought sometime because she is doing flips inside! We are very excited to begin the nursery. We have her bed and other furniture all picked out. We are thinking Lady Bugs for her nursery but are going to make the final decision this weekend. Daddy's ready to begin painting. Her closet is already nearly full of clothes, but a girl can never have too many. She already has two pairs of shoes! (She will be born to love shoes)
We go back to the doctor the 24th for a visit. We will continue to keep everything posted and add pictures as we come along with the nursery!

Allyson Beatrice (Ally)
Well the baby was once again contrary. This time it was her ankles that were crossed. We tried everything from drinking caffeine to almost doing dances. However, I requested that the doctor come in and give it a try. He didn't see any boy parts and was for sure he saw girl. So I quickly asked 80% sure its a girl and he was confident in saying, "I would say for sure 80%." You could tell he was 100% but just didn't want to make the assumptions without visually viewing the correct image. However, to be 100% for sure once again I go back for the third ultrasound in a month on June 11th. They also needed to check one other thing. She was very comfortable inside, healthy, and already causing mommy and daddy to almost have a nervous breakdown. Her mouth was moving and she snuggled with her hands close to her face.
We are actually on our way to Gatlinburg and I am buying PINK! I will save the receipts but he was very confident that baby K is a GIRL!
We are very excited to actually be calling her by name!
